Welcome to G. G. N. Angilella's homepage
I work as an Associate Professor of Condensed Matter Physics at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Catania, Italy. I also serve as
Tutor at the Scuola Superiore di
Catania (University College).
I currently serve as Chairman of the European
High Pressure Research Group (EHPRG), Secretary of the International Association for the Advancement of
High Pressure Science and Technology (AIRAPT), Referente Locale of the Italian Physical Society (SIF).
I serve as co-editor (with Professor N. H. March) of Physics
and Chemistry of Liquids.
I am mainly concerned with condensed matter theory, and my research interests include: superconductivity, graphene,
high pressure physics.
I teach Many-body theory, Statistical field theory, Superconductivity and
superfluidity, Electromagnetism, Mathematical methods for physics, Numerical
methods for physics (see Teaching for more
details).
